How the Bill Estimator Works

This tool helps estimate your electricity cost based on appliance usage. Follow these simple steps:

Select your Consumer Class (e.g., Residential, Commercial, Public Building).

2️⃣

Select an appliance from the list, or enter a custom appliance along with its wattage.

3️⃣

Provide the **number of devices**, hours per day, and days per week the appliance is used.

4️⃣

The estimator uses the following formulas:

Energy Consumption (kWh) =
(Wattage × No. of Devices × Hours per Day × Days per Week × 4) ÷ 1000

Where 4 represents the average number of weeks in a month.

Estimated Cost =
kWh × Consumer Rate (₱/kWh)

For a **100-watt electric fan** used **5 hours per day, 7 days a week**, under a **₱15.1806/kWh residential rate**:

kWh = (100 × 1 × 5 × 7 × 4) ÷ 1000 = 14 kWh/month

Estimated Cost = 14 × 15.1806 = ₱212.53
